I was wondering if any one has done any work with a C++/VB app that is distributed that uses MSDE as the database engine. I am trying to gauge weather I should change an existing system to use MSDE instead of Access. The backend system will be SQL Server 2000; and the field system is being converted to use ADO exclusively instead of DAO; which is why we are contemplating the change. I have not heard many reactions with the MSDE so I was looking for postive and negative feedback.
