I have a Visual Basic program that call a DOS program. This DOS program reads file of up to 400 files but after 196 files, it can't read anymore.
the program is in C. I use fclose and fflush for every reading of file but it doesn't give the solution.
How can I set the maximum number of files that can be open?

I have set the autoexec.bat with "FILES=400"
but yet it went the same error.
Pls..I need ur any help.
