RDO Object creation

I am using VB 5.0.
I am declaring an RDO enviorement object as follows

Dim En as rdoEnvironment
and on the form load setting it to the default one as
set En = rdoEnvironments(0)



I have included the Microsoft Remote Data Object 2.0 in the project references.

Running the program gives me run-time error '429' as ActiveX component can't create object.
