Application's Security Access
I'm trying to find out if there is a way for a program to be able to access a file on a server and make changes to that file if the user running the program only has read-only access to that server.
We are about to tighten security by cutting access to servers and this will cause problems with some of our current programs. Some of the programs read files and make changes and write them back to the server. This won't work without the user having the right access as far as I know.
If anyone knows how to get a program to be able to access servers and do things that the users security level won't allow them to do, I would appreciate any help you could give.
Thanks
