im just learning visual basic6 at the moment, especially the MSCOMM.ocx, now the problem i am faced with is.....

I want to be able to perform a on the RS232 port a RTS but keeping the TX data line low (0v) is this at all possible using Mscomm, if so i would appreciate any help as i have now spent lots of hours reading and trying to sort this problem out. (and found nothing)
if it can not be acheived using MScomm what else do u suggest?
