How do I get the list of connections under Network Connections

In my program I need to get the list of connections under

Start Menu->Settings->Control Panel->Network Connections


And if possible maybe know for example for a direct cable connection which port is being used...


Any suggestions, links are welcome, but a sample code would be heavenly....:-)
