Basic GUI using C#
Hello,
I am a college fresher C++ programmer in unix.I had worked in C++ mainly on unix platform. Never worked on Microsoft/windows envornment.
Now I am interested to work on GUI in Visual studio.NET 2003 envoronment.
Can I start developing some basic GUI using C#. For a fresh beginner like me
Can anyone recommend me which books are good to start ?
I need a book for a beginner and Intermediate level.

We often get asked what book is best to learn C# and I normally answer : whichever one suits you best. Go down to your local bookstore and have a poke about.
Personally, I didn't buy a book to learn C#. I just installed it and started to play with it.
MSDN is pretty good with loads of tutorials - as is this site and all of the other thousands of sites around the world dedicated to C#.
So I think the answer is : buy it, play with it and look up the websites.
