Creating First Program
I am a college student who is a newbee programmer in C++. I know how to get started and designing a game from start to finish. I have mad small games but when it comes to attempting a small user friendly application I get a little lost on where to begin. Has any one else have this problem and could recomend me a great book on software development to get me started? Thanks!! =)
A computer is a world of exploration!!!

Re: Creating First Program
What games do you want to create? 5-in-a-row? Tetris? Chess? Unreal Tournament 2006? What?
If you are new to C++ here is a list of good C++ books. Start from the beginning and learn C++ appropriatelly and only when you master it well go to gaming.

No, I'm not. According to the dictionary a nerd is "A student who studies excessively". Well, I'm not a student, so I cannot be a nerd.
