    Visual C++.Net 2003 or 2005?

    Hi,

    I'm considering between Visual C++.Net 2003 and 2005.

    What are your opinions?

    Which would you get based on what criterias?

    There have been mixed rumours about the release dates. Some say July~ August. Others say November. Anyone have a more concrete idea?

    The official word on the release date is the week of November 7th. So I guess it's just a matter of whether you can wait that long.

    For now, there is only the Beta 2 version of VS 2005. This one is for testing only. You cannot build comercial software with it.

    And there's virtually nothing in the VC++.NET 2005 beta except for a compiler and STL. No MFC for instance.
