    Seeking Efficient Search Algorithm

    Hello,

    I am a C programmar and seek the help of you people in aknowledge of some efficient searching algorithm.
    kindly don't mention B,B+Tree algorithms.

    You did not mention what type of data you are searching. Is it a large single dimension or multi-dimension array? Is it characters or numbers? Is it sorted? etc...
