    How too Create an .avi file??--Urgent

    HI,
    Environment: VC++5.0, Win NT


    I would like to create an .avi file which basically contains informaion related to my company profile which can be used for displaying in animate control in vc++ application.

    Microsoft has a program called VIDEDIT.EXE that you can download at: ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/developr/drg...EO/VIDEDIT.EX_

    I've used it where I've inserted a bunch of GIF's to make an AVI and it seems to work pretty good.

    I tried down loading from the site.Iam unable to get in to the web site. It giving me an error HTTP error. Please let me know to go in to that site and down thhe exe file.

    It has some other stuff zipped up with it that you may or may not want.

    how do you decompress the VIDEDIT.EX_..EX_ file

    See my submission of 4-24-99, 7:21 PM for where to get the file, but remember, it's zipped up, so you'll need WINZIP to uncompress it.

    what are you trying to do? you could use corel's photopaint or adobe premire.
