Infact Millers is also a South African brand.. sort of. Was American but our local brewers, SAB, bought Millers. So we now own the brand.

SA produces some very fine wines too. Rival most french wines at international compititions. Nederberg is a pretty good, cheapish wine. But I have a distinct affinity for Neil Ellis (Pinotage), or Zonnebloem (Lauriet).

Since the only 3 real producers of whiskey are Ireland (Irish), Scotland (Scotch) and US (Burban)... SA doesn't have a good whiskey. I like Jamesons though. Best served neat. (I find the Scotches and Burbans after taste too smokey).
