MAPI Checking mail?
Is there any way to use MAPI to send a message to check for new mail? I assumed that MAPIReadMail would do the trick, but it only pulls a message from the application that has already been downloaded. Is there any way to tell the application to check for new messages? I really do not want to have to re-invent the wheel for this problem and want to avoid having to do POP3 calls if at all possible.

Re: MAPI Checking mail?
Sorry, but MAPI is built around the idea that the email client receives email from the server automatically rather than having a POP3-style setup, where the mail stays on the server until the client calls to download it.
The universe is a figment of its own imagination.
