Class View

Hi,

We have a project which was built using version 4 of Microsoft Visual C++. However, the editor of Visual Studio was not used to change the project files. The classes were directly added using some other editor

Now whwn we try to use the Class View in the Integrated Development Environment (of Visual C++ 5.0), we do not see all the classes.

What can be done to ensure that all the classes are visibe in the Class View

Hi,

1) delete the .clw file in the project's directory.

2) open a dialog or a menu ressource in ressource view.

3) press Ctrl+W.

4) You will get a message box with something like "Class information missing". In the next dialog you can add your source files. After this all classes and structures shall be visible in the class view.

I did as suggested. The clw file was created successfully. Also the new clw file created contained all the classes. However, still the Class view does not show all the classes.

Another point. The clw file may be used in class wizard and not the class view. The class view that I am looking for is one of the tabs seen on the left hand side (the other tabs are : ResourceView, FileView and InfoView) of Workspace
