Is VC++ 6.0 is getting out of scope?

Well till now developers like us are working on VC++ 6.0 rigorously , but now New versions of Visual Studio are coming up , new Open Source System ( Free of Cost ) are getting Stable.

So my Question is what are the options open for VC++ Developers ?
What are your realistic views on the future of VC++ 6.0?

Well discussion is going in wrong way , I have asked question about the future of VC++ 6.0 developers and NOT ABOUT YOUR OWN FUTURE PREDICTION.

Some of them will resist change and continue to use MFC some will start using C# , some Borland C++ Builder, some Java and the remaining will go to law school.

really hillarious.. why in the world they go to law school...??

but seriously in my opinion, no matter how many new VStudios released, VC++6 still would have support from small/medium company's.. and for its wide popularity(take a look at CG VC++ forum's for example) most old developers would stick to it, while new developers might try on the new VS.. so for VC++6 to be obsolete one day, it would happen when new guys don't choose to learn it, small/medium companys migrate their code to new VS, and all the current VC6.0 developers have to be dead.. , and would that be th end of CG...?

1. Un-mamaged Windows API, Kernel Level, DLL, Activex, COM
2. Maintenance
3. Enhancement
4. Bug Fixing (Existing Project) and the terms you know at-least.

You should also able to do, when your boss uses these words to you,

1. Migration
2. WebService
3. .NET Framework
4. From the Scratch
5. Research and Development
6. Project Estimation
7. Web Based Systems
8. Managed Extensions and gcnew
9. Silver Light and the terms you never heard.... :-)

Even-though, Scope of VC6.0 Never Ends, until all systems in the world are not migrated to x64.

I am sorry, until all systems in the world are not migrated to x128. For x64 also we have SDK for VC6.0.

What is this VC6 that you speak of? Is it some sort of compiler?

What Microsoft compiler version doesn't really matter at all, provided that you can finish my project and your program can run on customers windows versions as required.
There is no way that all systems will be transferred into x64 in the next 10 years, too soon and too little to feed the whole world out there.
Believe it or not, I just tried to run after your technologies, from VC6 to VC05 then VC08 and now VC10; what do I get after all, I am really tired while the ads are widely spread and non-stoppable, for it is their business.
Accepting it, thinking about it this way may help you relieved at times.
