Release version works differently then the debug version on VC6.
Release version works differently then the debug version on VC6.
My socket software worked perfectly fine on debug version, i did and
retrieve the file i wanted. When i compiled a release version of the
same code... socket keeps responding 0, 1, 2 and other non sense
characters and the connecting time is much faster than it normally does
in the debug version.
I tried to reset everything in the Project Setting dialog and deleted
those directories and recompiled the software. It's still the same
thing.
What could be wrong?!?!?!

- Check all your uses macros, like ASSERT, _ASSERTE, ... and be carefully with them, s.t. do not call there initialization, ... like
_ASSERTE( Init() );
- If you use MFC, check the version of your dll. So, you can have the MFC version 5.0 for release, and 6.0 for debug, who knows,
