    That's good fundamentals of poetry!

I'll be working on my pc (her name is Sharleen), so does having a pc as date count¿

Is it? I didn't know that.

Well, at least you have something. So that's good. If its any consolation, you're not the only one I know that has their PC as date/gf.

    Re: Valentine Thread :D

He'll cook me a nice dinner (It's insane to try and go out on V-Day) and exchange little gifts. Red goes to a convention around the week of Valentine's so I give him money to go out and play with after all the meetings and lectures.

Ameri, are you saying you've found someone?! That's soo nice! I'm happy for you.

    EDIT:
Sorry if my question is too personal.
Its just that last time we spoke, you seemed available.
Anyways, I really think its nice. Cook dinner for you.. really cool.

Oh, oh.. sorry. To be on topic, my plans would be... to stay in the office and work.
Would make sense to add a poll to this thread? I think this option will get a lot of votes.

Do you expect the dinner to be nice as in "nice looking" or as in "yummy"? My wife keeps telling me that what I cook looks like s...t and tastes like heaven.

I think NoHero was referring to the supposed gift he should have received in exchange of those flowers he gave to her.

We'll be away on holidays so who knows what we'll do on valentines day.

Yes! You still celebrate it even after you're married.

    Of Course..

    But..

It costs you a arm and a leg, because Flowers and a box of choclates is just not enough any more...

Its a Fancy dinner at the favorite resturant, A new outfit for going to the resturant, a holiday trip to the coast (I stay inland, nearest coast is +- 800km (500miles) due east), and, and, and.....

And after all that, you get a ' So whats Next'....

Nice to know, romance is still there. I hope that romance will last till your hair are gray and you have kids screaming

@GremliSA there are ways to celebrate without resorting to expensive present and expensive dinner. I guess it just requires a bit of imagination

@Deniz: Not only kids, but grandkids..

@GremlinSA: I concur with what Ideru said plus, a little creativity. You can ask us girls here for tips, if you want.

Of course...it will..!! I fully agree...

Hannes - so you are saying (since there's no 14th on your calender month Feb) you are about - your_age_number_of_days_younger_than_you_are? That's great..

What is so special about this day, anyway? Why not have such day all the days in a year??? I don't understand the need of it... it's just a day of wastage of money and time...
