    LPT Status

    How do I check the status of LPT? Whether it is online, offline or simply become errorneous in the middle of printing (maybe due to paper jam)? I am simply using Textstream or File I/O write to LPT commands.

    I've not had a chance to try it yet, but you can download code for a printer status control from the controls section of http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Foothills/9940 - there's lots of other good code there too.
