How many of you eat prawn ? Prawn belongs to the same family as the cockroach and the tarantula. Phylum Arthropoda.

I eat Meat and Potatoes. 90% of the time. My grandmother used to make dandelion salads. That was as exotic as I used to gets. Bugs would never cut it.

If one man can eat beef, goat, chicken, turkey, deer, fish, prawn, oyester, etc... Why can another not eat grasshopper, and the likes... ?

There is really no line... Or is there?

<pedant>A phylum isn't the same as a family. "Phylum" is a much more inclusive grouping. It ranks just below kingdom, whereas "family" is just above "genus", with "class" and "order" in between.

Note that, at class level (one below phylum, two above family), all three are separated - cockroaches are in Insecta, tarantulas are in Arachnida and prawns are in Eumalacostraca.
