Re: Backup problem
Hi antares686
thanks for answering, and I was able to take the backup. But till this time I could not know why at that time I was not able to take the backup.
Here I am explaining the complete problem.
I am working in a LAN, while sitting on my machine I was able to take sql server backup on the server machine either in tape or in disk. but one day, when I tried to take the backup in the disk, sitting on my machine it did not start, and again when I started the same procedure on the server machine the backup process was started. While sitting on my machine I was able to take backup in the tape drive, not in disk. Then I open the properties of that perticular database, I did not changed any thing and after closing the properties, I tried and backup process started. I was surprised why it was so. But next day I again faced the same problem, and any how I could not take the backup in the disk, so I took in the tape. But now it is running smoothly.
I could not know why this problem arises.
One more thing, I had scheduled for backup, after some times I removed that scheduling but again I am getting the backup for which I had scheduled. How can I permanently remove it.
The database is upto 100 GB.
