Re: FIFA World Cup Germany 2006

Well, Brazil didn't impress again. They were razzed several times for their game. I really like the way Australia played. I think they have big chances to perform well against Croatia and make it to the next round.

As for France, it's like 2002 all over again. Except that now they managed to score a goal. Who knows, perhaps Togo could take the place of Senegal.

Today, I think Ukraine will win against Saudi Arabia. They have to. 2 - 1 for Ukraine.

Deniz must be proud for his Socceroos team as they managed to make Brazillians work hard for their goals...at least, Brazil was more impressive than England...

maybe history will reapeat itself for France to be sent home early...but I think they'll managed to get to the round of 16 this year......

if Saudi Arabia play like they played agaisnt Tunisia, I'll not shock they can beat Ukranian...even after Shevchenko had vowed to pull his better performance tonight...hmmm....wanna bet, Cilu?...

So, should I send you my mailing address for those 3 beers?

I bet on Togo scoring one goal and they failed me.

OK. I was wrong. I admit. England is by no means a team able to win this world cup. They should be happy if they make it to the quarter finals. The match today against Sweden, well, I think the score wasn't fair at all. Sweden should have won by at least 2 goals. I just can't wait to see that moron, SGE, out of England's bench.

Yup, as I already said, the two teams that have the best chance are Brazil
    and Argentina.
But, as we all know, anything can happen.

    I am with Ovidiu now.
    Ecuador

After watching yesterdays match I doubt if England can reach Quarter Finals. Till now only Argentina has been upto the expectations. Even Brazil has not yet fired.

whatever happen to those 3 games?...I didn't see them except highlights...I was on my way to JB that night(Max will know where it is)...I heard Sauid Arabia loose their concentration after the 2nd goal...hmm...maybe they still can't overcome their nightmare losing 6-0(or is it 7-0?) to Germany on 2002...

    can England beat Ecuador?...

Yes, England can beat Ecuador, and that's it. After that, they will go back to England and let others who actually play the sport called football to fight for the cup. Oh, map, I'm so pissed of with their performance. I really liked Sweden last night. They played a very good football. It won't be easy for Germany to beat them.

Wow, well done Australia! A well deserved draw against Croatia and a place in the last 16.

There was this extremely funny moment, when Graham Poll booked a second yellow card for Simunic, but didn't notice it was actually the second, so for a few minutes Simunic remained on the field, until he commited another fault and received a third yellow card. At that moment Poll remembered he just booked him a couple of minutes before, and sent him off just seconds before the end of the game.
