    Windows Vista rendering engine

    Hello Gurus,

    I've been told that Windows Vista will include a new 2D rendering engine based on DirectX. Is that true?
    If yes, what is the name of this rendering engine? Is it testable before the Windows Vista release? Did you try it with or without Vista beta?

    Any info about this is greatly welcome,

    You're right, I remember that 2D graphics engine is based on DirectDraw.
