Ok but we have to write the API, then, haven't we?

I have a gif picture with transparent backgroung. A friend told me that bitmaps can't have transparent background.

Then when I manage to have a stisfactory bitmap, I store it in the res directory? Add the file to the project? and it will appear in the Image dropdown box of the Properties dialog box of the control????
