at commands in vb 6
how can i execute AT Commands to be sent to a GSM modem through vb 6? can i see a sample code?.. i really dont have the slightest idea.. thanks in advance.

i have a code here, maybe it can be a little help to u.
the principe goes the same with serial programming...
u need to know about Microsoft Comm Control (From Project-> Components)

There was some thread a couple of weeks ago.
Search the forum for "sending sms", there we got an SMS modem running using AT commands.

If you have a Std Modem then it will use the land line, however from your first post this is a GSM Modem ???
GSM Modem's dont use a land line .. they use a GSM Sim card and arial to connect via the cell network towers...
