DirectX
I wouldn't mind writing DirectX programs... but I dont know where to start... can someone point me to a goode directX tutrial or somethin'...
any help would be much appreciated...

Hello,
I've bought several books on the subject and the best so far has to be:-
Inside DirectX By Microsoft press, though note it covers 5.2 release only (Direct Draw, Direct Sound, Direct Input) No Direct3D though.
It's available from Amazon.com

I do not know if you have the DirectX SDK, but it has many very good examples in it. I have also looked at the book "Inside Direct X", it is a pretty good book, but it is mostly reference. I found that the foxbear example, the wormhole example & the donuts example that come with the SDK are the best tools for learning basic directX.
