New to Visual Basic 6.0 - Need Tips for a starter
Hi
I just joined the Visual Basic class in school. The class is almost 1 month old and so quite advanced for me to understand. I am looking for any help/tips for quick learning so I can catch up with class level. Would the online books on http://www.itknowledge.com help me? If so, can anyone recommend which one to choose? I am not new to programming, but fairly new to Windows programming.
Any help on this issue would be much appreciated.

Well this might sound stupid, but 'the complete idiots guide to visual basic' looks fine to start. Don't be fooled by the name, i'm NOT calling you an idiot. You will notice that visual basic isn't hard to learn at all, excpecially when you're not new to programming. Besides it more like fun. There are some other good books at ITknowledge.com, but some of them are only on advanced topics, or not fully published on internet.

Another great site for beginners is http://www.vbhelp.net. Here you can find some great VB tutorials, just perfect when starting.
