    Chat?

I know this is a little off-topic here, but I have no way to ask anyone else who would know the answer to this. Does CodeGuru have a chat room? I've looked all over the web page and i can't find one.

No we don't have a chat-room (The site is being redesigned at the moment for April sometime, but I don't think there's any plans for a chatroom then either).

I think I am all for it,
I wonder what the other guys think of it!!

But what is Real Time ?

I'm based in the UK and work full time for another company (not CodeGuru), I answer questions / moderate the board when I have the time (which is usually in the evenings). Moderating a chat room would be nigh on impossible as well as moderating the forums.

from what i've seen, realtime is (i think) something happening at the moment, hense "real" time, as in right now.

I was being rhetorical - you do know what that means don't you ;-)
