interested in writing my own applications
hey,
i have a reasonable amount of experience with C and C++, and i now want to learn how to write my own applications and start loking in to http. has anyone got any good advice on where to begin or have they any good tutorials that would help me?????

Well if its Windows application (GUI) then i would recommend get your hands on this book.
Programming Microsoft Windows - Charles Petzold
This will help you get familiar with Win32 GUI programming.
Also another good site is www.functionx.com

It does matter, if not I wouldn't have bothered to ask that. In programming ( as with anything else ), there is what is called as the right tool for the right job.

thanks guys.
im not sure what type but this is what i want it to do, i want to access files on the internet. many display them on the screen or something
