WARNIG A VIOLATION OF THREAD RULES IS ABOUT TO BE COMMITED
(because Belzeski, does not Have PM's enabled.)

Does everyone realize that last night was the LAST scheduled nighttime take-off from NASA @ Cape Kennedy. The facility is scheduled to be closed, and I frear it fortells the end of a meaningful US commitment to space explorartion....

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice; in practice there is.

// staying on topic for just a post...

Interesting...where did you hear that? I must have missed something. NASA has plenty more launches scheduled from Kennedy Space Center. I love following each mission on NASA TV...it's a personal hobby of mine.

Again, the key word "Nighttime" is important. The first I heard of it was from two people (who do not know each other) who live on the Cape. Then it was picked up by local papers (in Fla). I have been trying to get confirmation from a "source".....

    Re: Off Topic thread...

With the whole calculation of launch windows, I doubt this is a true rumor.

EDIT: I found some of those articles. The key phrase is "this year." Kennedy Space center is far from closing.

Let me guess, if your first post to Codeguru is in the Off Topic thread, you are immediately banned for life?

    Re: Off Topic thread...

The worst thing with off-topic thread is that you have no possibility to follow the rules. When you post something on any topic, you violate the rules. When you post something off-topic, then you are on topic of the thread. Like now, I was on topic of off-topic thread, thus I violated the rules. Please do not reply to me, or you will be next.

    Resistance is futile.

Why are they still Junior members? They deserved to be known as "Super Power Posters" at least.
