Just got a new 22 " LCD... two messed up pixels.

I just got an Acer monitor.

It seems to have too bugged pixels. One dead and one "hot", this one I'm not to sure about.
Where the dead is always gray/black and the other is like a contrast color to the background.
This is the one I'm not sure about. I don't know if it's a stuck or hot. It seems hot as I've tried flashing colors real fast and also tried the thing with tapping and pushing it while turning off the monitor then back on. No luck on either with this..

I just bought it the other day, so I should be able to take it back. Just might make my parents mad having to go back out to do it.... Haven't even told them yet..

Is there no other methods to use? Are dead pixels NOT fixable?

You don't understand my question. I'm asking if anyone else has had this problem, thus possibly knowing a way to fix it. (without returning the monitor)

Why would I have to spend extra money? I would return this and get another for free. That part I already know. I would just rather not have to do that. I may would even deal with it before doing that actually.

    EDIT:
Ive taken a real close look at it and It's the red thats not fully on. Its like g|b|r|g|b|r|g|b|r

Where the r in the middle is not as bright.
