Events? Or, How to tell if one is offline
Hi,
I was wondering if there are something like events in VC++. For example, I'd like to be able to execute a function once my device becomes disconected/offline, and execute a different function once the device is online again. I'm programming on Windows Mobile.
I'm sorry if this is an obvious question, I'm new to VC++
Thank you!

Yes, there is native support for events, which is implemented by __event keyword in VC++. AFAIK, anyone doesn' use them and I don't recommend you to try.
Good old callback functions or using Windows events (CreateEvent) is the way to do this.

Windows has a lot of possibilities for events... the question is . . can your device give a signal when it goes offline.
