    Advice on what to learn

I am in the 3rd (Final) year of University, studying Computer Science /w Software Development.

I have learnt C#, C++, Mainly I have also learn the correct way to engineer a project and design patterns, XML etc.

I was wondering if I could get advice from the experienced ones who have jobs in this career.

What would be my best bet to be employed in a years time? Is there any languages/subjects/topics etc I should teach myself?

Any advice would be great! Thanks.

Re: Advice on what to learn

Get experience. Do side projects that are functional. Create applications that do something. Get experience. That will help you get employed.

    For example...
Do projects for charities or something around your town that might not be able to pay, but would use what you create. That will get you real world experience.

    That's my suggestion
