Re: OFFICE 2010 Launch Event
When I went to the Visual Studio 2005 Launch they gave everyone free copies of Visual Studio.Net 2005 and SQL Server 2005. Will they be giving away 2010 at the Visual Studio 2010 Launch event?

Now there's a FREE version of each, aptly named the EXPRESS versions available for download.
Too confusing over what cost $ and what doesn't, they adopted this format for the future

You don't get all the extra tools, but what do you expect from a FREE product?

Re: OFFICE 2010 Launch Event
Completely off topic - but at least, Microsoft related.... this morning I went to withdraw some cash from my bank's "hole in the wall" cash dispenser, only to find it temporarily out of service. So I spent 10 minutes or so doing a little shopping (well, window shopping, since I had no cash!) and returned later to the cash machine. I was amazed to see it now displaying the familiar Windows 'F8' boot screen (i.e. the one that let's you boot into Safe Mode etc). I had no idea that cash dispensers ran under Windows. Presumably, the banks don't consider it to be the flaky, insecure OS that many industry pundits would have us believe!
