    CreateObject()

    Hey All!

    This time not a particularly stupid question: is there something I can use instead of Outlook.Application in the following:

    CreateObject("Outlook.Application")

    I don't want to use outlook because the program in question sends out faxes, and outlook has been telling me that it has successfully sent out these faxes. The fax machine to my immediate right says otherwise.

    I've been reading things about faxcom.dll and faxcomex.dll or something and I can't figure out IF those work in Windows 7, let alone how they work.

    Point is: VB.net program. Trying to send a fax. Outlook gets a capital A in the fAil department. Ideas?

    Plenty of sites let you send a fax by email...
