Algorithm Database

Hello fellow coders!

Short introduction of myself, as i'm new here:
24 ys/o, Germany - Nürnberg, studying physics and in general interested in computer science. o/

I have recently been looking for an algorithm database that hosts all known algorithms for all sorts of problems but i haven't found one. That's why i decided to start my own. I have read that it's not allowed to advertise here, so i kindly ask for the permission to post the link of this project as it could be useful for everyone.

Why do i post this here? As stated before, i'm a physicist, not a computer scientist. That's why i need everybody's help to fill this site with content, i.e. i need people to write down algorithms in pseudocode and post them on my wiki-structured site.

You could use the Dictionary of Algorithms and Data Structures as a starting point.

Wikipedia may have already beat you to this, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_algorithms. Most of those articles include pseudocode, so it may be better to concentrate on helping wikipedia improve and expand their contents in this area unless you plan to do something different with your wiki.
