At 2 1/2 weeks its always a little difficult to tell if they male/female, but it does appear to be female...

And the Spelling is Suwi. We choose it mostly because she was saved from the sewers, and it's easy on the lips to pronounce..

Thanks for the Definition lookup, also Dutch is very similar to Afrikaans spoken here, so it's quite fitting....

The white dog is female and over 14 years old. The black dog is male and probably about 11 years old.
