Add custom column in file explorer
Can a custom column be added(for a folder or a existing file type) in the file explorer in details view?
Suppose for folder, I want to add a custom column(e.g. size) so that it can be seen in details view
TIA

Re: Add custom column in file explorer
Perhaps, creating an AddOn like https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/lib...(v=vs.85).aspx ?
However, it seems to be only for XP and earlier...

Re: Add custom column in file explorer
Thanks for the info. The second answer(the superuser link) it suggest a another file explorer other than the default one that windows provides, that is exactly what I am trying to avoid. I found out about this (https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/lib...(v=vs.85).aspx) but it seems it allows custom column for custom extensions. Does it allow adding custom columns for folder and existing file types too? Or is there any other way to do that?

Re: Add custom column in file explorer
Sorry, but I don't know. I never developed AddOn's for Explorer, nor needed any additional columns in its "details" view.
