My vb6 project is generating a lot of files with the ".tmp" extension (such as vba075.tmp, vbe1.tmp, etc.) that are taking up a lot of space. I feel silly because I've been using Windows for awhile but I still don't know what .tmp files do. What is their purpose, and is it safe to delete them, or will doing that mess up my project?
