Send Escape as ASCII VAlue to printer
Hi
I want to send text to a printer and then an escape sequense to cut the paper.
I know the devicename of the printer and it can be anywhere at the local net.
Sending the text is not a problem but cutting is just impossible. It may not be sent as a string but as ascii value 27. Anyone have a suggestion?
Thanks
Jen

How about
Printer.Print Chr$(27);

Printer.Enddoc will cut the paper, won't it?

Hi
I think Printer.Enddoc only will cut if you have a setting in Windows that set a standard for how large the printing must be. My documents always varies so I can´t use it.
Thanks

Hi
No, I can´t use .print because it will send a string and I want to send a value.
Thanks
