1)How can I compile .c file to dll and call the dll in VB?
2)What's the differnt between ActiveX dll and dll? Which one is better?

There is a DLL created in VC++, able to be used by VB ActiveX DLL.
Normally DLL (not those DLL that store class) is merely for storing useful functions, it can't raise event like ActiveX DLL. It's not as "OOP" as ActiveX DLL also, i.e. you don't need to make an instance of a class to gain access to normal DLL. (of course there are DLL which store OBJECT).
