Loading Skins
Does anyone have any idea of how to go about reading skin files and using them to enhance one's own UI. Is it a better idea to start from scratch and build one's own skin defintion or is there a skin standard out there somewhere.
We would like to be able to read winamp and neoplanet skins and utilize them in our own application which is for hte education market.
Any ideas, advice, pointers, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Rob

I wrote an article with sample source code on creating skins that you may find interesting. You can read the article at:

You might also consider checking out the "NeoCaption" object at http://www.vbaccelerator.com - Full source code is provided, or you could use it as a drop-in.
