emulating a CD
Hello,
I want to develop a CD emulator. Any starting ideas? Any suggestion would be apreciated...
Linux IS userfriendly. It just selects its friends very carefully.

Re: emulating a CD
In old dos times, I used to launch "subst" command, telling dos that a directory was my cd (ie: subst c:\mydirforCD d , then I was able to run code in directory like it was on CD. In earlier times, I did not try, and it may not work anymore (expecially if you are under windows NT)....
Hope it may give you a hint.
Special thanks to Lothar "the Great" Haensler. Come back soon, you Guru.
