Access Question?
I normally open Access databases with VB code defining the type of access a user has, however, someone in our department needs to allow a person in another department to directly open an Access database read-only. Is there a way to do this by default without setting up user accounts?

Re: Access Question?
Hmmm ... I know few options (I think):
1. Access Security: Tools->Security
2. NT Security: Read-Only Permission (if you're using NT to store the file)
3. Do not allow direct access but create an interface for the user to view data in the DB as READ-ONLY.
