    Long in a variant

    Hi there,
    does anyone know how i can put a number in a variant with a type as VT_I4 ?


    i.e.

    Dim X as Variant

    X = 2

    ???

    not sure if this what u means

    dim x as long
    dim y as variant

    x = 4
    y = x
