What is the best way to create a simulation?
Do you know what is the best way to create a simulation of mechanical movements of a Robot that can be modified in real time?
I tried DirectX8 but that's a hell lot of work!
what is better to use? (not necessarily in VB, maybe some graphics program instead).

Well, you can use 3d-max for the 3d editing... but you said you want realtime? i haven't used the latest version of max yet but i'm yet to see one with realtime object manipulation.
