How to close an application over the LAN?
Hi,
Currently I am able to close an application using the 'FindWindow' and 'PostMessage' functions. This works fine when you run the program on a local machine. How can we close an application on another system which is on the LAN and that machine has given me full access?
Thanks.

use the winsock control to build a client application that do actually what you are doing now. Then, build another server application the send a command, string maybe like "ShutDown" to the client application. Whenever the client application receive the command, it will just do its work.
