question
if the system says 'you have virus in your memory', what does it mean? is it still on your hard disk? Please tell me where it is physically. If on hard disk, can I use 'format' to get rid of it completely?
thanks in advance.

Depending on the type, a virus can reside in a number of places. My best bet is to get a bootable disk like Magic Bullet and boot your machine with this disk inserted then follow the prompts. Do not hurry to format the machine because some viruses are not affected by that

question
thanks first.
Floppy drive doesn't work maybe because of the virus (I tried changing another floppy drive, but it still doesn't work). this is the big problem. I don't know what I am going to do. Please give me some suggestions. thanks again.
by the way, where to get the bootable disk you mentioned?
