Urgent - Problem with DataForm Wizard
I've got this program, all the forms have to link to a database, so I used the VB Dataform Wizard. The problem is that when I select the ADO Code in the Biding Type Options, and I uncheck the Add Button and Delete Buttons, and try to run the program - it gives me this error
"Object does not source automation events" and it highlights
"Dim WithEvents adoPrimaryRS As Recordset". When I comment it out, the program gives me another error "Procedure declarations does not match description of event or procedure having the same name" and it highlights "Private Sub cmdUpdate_Click()".
How can I fix this? Please email me if this problem is unclear.
Please Help, it's Very Urgent...
Thanx

Re: Urgent - Problem with DataForm Wizard
hi,
I don't know a lot of data form wizard but i tried it out and got the same error.
Here is my suggestion: do the wizard again and don't uncheck the delete and add buttons. Then when youre form is created, go to the properties of these buttons and make them invisable (property visible = false). Then look into the code and put all the lines with those 2 buttons in them in commment. then run the form, look if it works like you want and then you can delete the 2 buttons.
PS: The best thing to do is to write the code youre self in stead of using the wizard! if you want help on that, feel free to ask.
