    Class definition

    Hi
I have a problem.I am using a Cognus application object(A reporting tool) using the late bindind(ie. using createobject function). If I want to program using early binding I am not able to find any (dll or ocx or tlb or olb) files so that I could add it to references. How do I find out from which file is the createobject function getting the class definition??
    Regards

    Re: Class definition

You will have to search the registry using Regedit.exe for the key which is th eobject name in the CreateObject call - this will have a subkey (something like Shell32 or something) that will tell you what dll or exe the object resided in.
