    .obj files

    Hi,

In some of the projects, .obj files are created automatically. Why are they created? Can they be removed without causing any problems to the project? Should they be distributed along with other files?

    Thanks in advance

    Re: .obj files

OBJ files are file screated when you compile your project to an exe/dll. They are used by the linker, this is a program that combines all seperate classes/modules/forms into a single exe/dll. After compilation, these files may be deleted, cause they are recreated upon compilation. This also means you can leave them out of any distribution package.
